Making your home look more appealing does not mean that you have to shell out big bucks right?  We're clear on that.  So, how about using a one-of-a-kind painting to add appeal to any room in your home eh?  Perhaps you are thinking that using one would beat our goal of designing a home on a budget.  The reality though is that you do not have to buy a one-of-a-kind painting as you can create it yourself.

Worried that you are not up to the task as the best you can do is to draw stick figures?  Worry no more as every one of us can make an abstract creation.  By that I mean anyone old enough to read this.  Basically, what you will be needing are acrylic paints in colors which complements or contrasts the color of your home depending on your preference, several paint brushes of different sizes, sheets of white watercolor paper, a pair of scissors, tape, ruler, pencil, and an inexpensive but stylish frame.  It would be better if you purchase a frame with matte included.

If you have a frame with matte, measure first just how much paper you need to cover with your painting. Then, let your creative side free.  You can create any design you like using a variety of color.  The lines don't need to be perfect as it is an abstract art you are creating after all.

After you have painted the watercolor paper and let it dry, it is time to slap in on the frame and tape it on the back.  Then, turn it over and see what you have created.  I'm telling you, it is not hard to do.  If you are not happy with your design, you can try again and again until you get what you want.

So there it is guys.  Just another simple way to jazz up your home.
